One of the final touches in my recent renovation of my boys bathroom was finding the perfect mirror. A mirror is like a crown jewel and can really enhance the look of a space. I wanted a fun and playful twist on a modern industrial look.

I had so much fun with this renovation! From the Board and Batten Wall to picking the perfect light fixture, to making the DIY floating shelf, and creating the perfect canvas word art. I wanted every detail to be special!
To me, picking the right mirror was the hardest decision in this entire project. I wanted something to play off of the geometric caged light fixture and I wanted to create the look that the mirror was “resting” on the floating shelf.
To achieve the “resting” look that I was going for I thought a flat bottom frame would be best. I searched for Pharmacy Mirrors, and they were a bit too narrow. I looked at square and rectangular mirrors and they were a bit too expected. Then, I came upon the perfect hexagon mirror with a flat black frame and a straight edge bottom.
I am so insanely obsessed on how this mirror fits in the space!
