Backyard Road Trip: Southern Craft Creamery

All roads should lead to Ice Cream.⁣

One of my favorite things to do while traveling is to checkout historical neighborhoods and to scope out local gems.⁣ As we traveled along the historical downtown of Mariana, FL the Southern Craft Creamery caught my eye and I can’t say no to ice cream. ⁣⁣

Their ice cream is handcrafted locally with milk from cows that they raise themselves. You can’t get fresher than this. We enjoyed a simple vanilla scoop and devoured a scoop of their bourbon butter pecan. ⁣

The interior of the shop itself is also gorgeously crafted. A rustic wood wrapped ice cream bar is the main central feature, and hanging pendants and white subway tile brightens up the space. A polished stained concrete floor gleams as you sit on one of the industrial wood and iron stools.⁣

Every detail is thought out on the interior and a beautiful green grass patio allows for extra seating outside. ⁣

Such a gem!!! We are so happy to have made it right before closing time. If you are ever in Mariana or driving past on the interstate, it’s worth the few mile drive!⁣
