I am slightly obsessed with Power Tools and while I still consider myself a beginner here are some of my favorite tools that I have learned to use this past year of DIY’ing.

The Fabulous Five

1. Circular Saw and KREG Rip-Cut Guide

For longer straight cuts. The Rip-Cut Guide is an additional attachment used for ripping down boards

2. Compound Miter Saw

Great for easily cutting lumber and mitering corners.

3. Cordless Drill and KREG Pocket Hole Jig

Who doesn’t need a good drill? I use it all the time and the KREG Jig is a life saver when you want to make a clean connection between two pieces of lumber.

4. Brad Nail Gun

I have used this much more than I ever thought I would. A nail gun is very helpful for furniture making and most DIY’s.

5. Orbit Sander

I sand almost every I work with that can be sanded. It gives you such a clean, smooth, and professional look!
